Oral hygiene as a regular practice was not given its due importance. This owed to the lack of oral health awareness. Colgate-Palmolive (India) Limited, the market leader in oral care, in association with the Indian Dental Association set out to communicate the basic of Oral health care during Oral Health Month (Sept-Oct). The agenda was to reach maximum number of people, especially underprivileged kids. To achieve this objective, mobile dental clinics were organized where a team of dentists would travel with the unit to alert the TG and spread awareness of regular dental care. These check-ups were extended across various touch points including children and workers at NGO’s.
