Champions in the Making
Rural sports are an initiative to encourage and promote the spirit of sports in rural India. The event is much awaited amongst its participants of age group 15–25 years whose main interest is cricket news, television programs and movies. The rural youth looks upon people from their communities, who have made it big in bigger towns, as their role model. Therefore, to make the participants feel important enough to feel like a ‘Future Olympic Player’, rural sports is a unique effort to get connected with the youth and boost their morale.
